The last neutral sans you will ever need, assuming you never needed neutrality in the first place.
The Argument
Manifesto / Neutrality, engineered
Read once. Agree quietly. Proceed to the machine room.
Grotesk Ultra does not do friendly. It does correct.
Every foundry promises warmth. We measured warmth, found it added nothing to legibility, and removed it. Grotesk Ultra is what remained: a grotesque built the way Copenhagen builds harbours — over-engineered, under-decorated, and indifferent to weather.
Two axes carry the entire argument. Weight runs from Hairline, a stroke so fine it is essentially a rumour, to Ultra, which is less a letterform than a load-bearing wall. Width runs from Condensed, for when the column wins, to Extended, for when you want each word to arrive like a shipping container.
There are no humanist apologies here. The terminals are cut square because that is where they end. The apertures stay open because closed ones trap meaning. If you need a typeface that smiles, there are thousands available. This one holds the door, checks your ticket, and remembers your name exactly as it is spelled.
Neutral is a lie.

This spread intentionally set in nothing. Even Ultra needs air.
